JLU receives a valuable collection of seals
Valuable new addition
The Chair of Medieval History at Justus Liebig University Giessen has acquired a valuable collection of seals from the estate of the Hessian explorer Theodor Koch-Grünberg (1872-1924). The collection comprises around 600 casts of medieval and early modern seals of various origins.
