Standing Committee for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice
The Standing Committee for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice at JLU investigates allegations of scientific misconduct referred by the ombudsperson, conducting preliminary reviews and formal investigations.
The Standing Committee for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice acts in accordance with section 10 of the Statutes at the request of the Ombudsperson; it is responsible for investigating allegations of scientific misconduct as part of the so-called "preliminary examination procedure" (section 16) and the "formal investigation procedure" (section 17).
The following members of the Commission were elected by the Senate on November 22, 2022; the term of office of the Commission is three years in accordance with section 8 (3) of the Statutes. It began on April 1, 2022 and ends on March 31, 2025:
