Kurzbeschreibung:
The ‚deploymentvotewatch‘ project is a joint project headed from Giessen with colleagues from the Netherlands and the UK that deals with party-political positionings and the politicization of military missions. The project has two goals:
- We aim at newly theorizing the role of parties and ideologies in foreign policy.
- We are compiling a growing, increasingly global database – www.deploymentvotewatch.eu – that collects data on parliamentary voting behavior of political parties on military deployments.
Falk Ostermann is the Scientific Manager of this project.
