Regulation by RNA-binding proteins and RNA therapeutics
(1) We are developing artificial circular RNAs that function as molecular sponges as a novel tool in molecular medicine and biology. (2) We are using UV-crosslinking & immunoprecipitation analyses (iCLIP) to track transcriptome-wide protein/RNA interactions. (3) We are investigating the functions and implications of the multifunctional RNA-binding protein hnRNP L in the regulation of alternative splicing, RNA processing & gene expression.
