) – katalysierten Acetylierung von Aminen und Alkoholen als katalytisch aktive Spezies diskutiert.

Wir konnten anhand analoger Salze wie
3a
und
3b
sowie theoretischer Betrachtungen deren Stabilität auf die Nucleophilie des entsprechenden Anions zurückführen, wie auch auf dessen Fähigkeit, das Ionenpaar durch Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen im Kristallgitter zu stabilisieren.

Spektroskopische Untersuchungen ergaben zudem, dass die Konzentration von

in Dichlormethan mit < 1% beträchtlich geringer ist als bisher angenommen.

Die dennoch hohe katalytische Aktivität muss daher in direktem Zusammenhang mit der Fähigkeit des Anions stehen, die nachfolgende Reaktion mit Alkoholen wiederum durch Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen zu assistieren.
