Aims:
To ascertain aberrations in systemic and local inflammatory gene regulation and in redox-signalling pathways in patients suffering from chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS), which will be beneficial for better understanding of the affected pathways leading to chronification of the disease and for further development of personalized therapeutic strategies.
