Developing dendritic polyglycerol-based multifunctional drug immunoconjugates that specifically target and kill cancer cells

In a close collaboration with the institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Freie Universität Berlin , we have developed nanotheranostic immunoconjugate agents through the conjugation of multifunctional nanocarrier coupled through a pH-sensitive linker with doxorubicin to scFv. This system can overcome the conventional free drug as well as nanocarrier delivery problems by increasing the drug stability, solubility and specificity, decreasing clearance rate and reducing systemic side effects.
