JLU is a modern university with a history reaching back more than 400 years. Apart from a huge range of taught subjects – from the Sciences to Law and Economics, from Social and Education Sciences to Languages and Cultural Studies – there is a scope of subjects in the Life Sciences which is unique not only in Hessen.
