Explanations on data protection:

General description and scope of data processing of all JLU contact forms can be found here (see chapter VII). On the contact form of the Department of Developmental Psychology, the following context-dependent data are also collected: Salutation, first name, last name, street, house number, postcode, place of residence, telephone, e-mail address, first + last name of the child, date of birth of the child (day, month, year), and other information necessary for communication. For this additional context-dependent data, we comply with our duty to inform in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation (Art. 12 ff) with the following details:

Legal basis of processing: The legal basis for processing the personal data concerning you is based on your voluntary consent in accordance with the EU-DSGVO through your consent to this privacy policy. Purpose of processing: The data is stored in order to contact you and inform you about current age-appropriate studies of our department as well as to enquire about your interest in participating. Deletion of data: The data will be deleted once your child has reached the age of majority (at the latest at the end of the following year).

In accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights with regard to your data: the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right of revocation and the right to object. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority here if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the EU Data Protection Regulation:
