The Mammalian Ecology Group will be conducted by me at the Department of Animal Ecology and Systematics. My research interests are in the areas of conservation ecology of endangered mammals, wildlife conservation in environmental planning, nutrition ecology of small insectivorous mammals and bats, reproductive biology of central European Myotis species, comparative metabolic physiology of shrews, bats, and dormouse, and the species diversity and habitat use of forest-dwelling small mammals.
