Research Interests
My research interests lie in the field of animal welfare research. As part of my doctorate in the GreenDairy project, I am investigating the influence of different feeding intensities on short- and long-term animal welfare indicators. To this end, I collect stress physiological parameters (including cortisol and heart rate variability), carry out surveys of the Welfare Quality Protocol, behavioural observations and telomere length measurements.
As part of the mAInZaun project, I am investigating the stress-physiological effects of wolf deterrent stimuli on cattle.
