Miriam Cindy MaurerResearch Associate & PhD Candidate I am currently a PhD student in Data Science as part of the GAUSS programme at the University of Göttingen. I studied Mathematics and Economics (BSc) at Heidelberg University, followed by Applied Statistics (MSc) at the University of Göttingen. My research focuses on graph neural networks (GNNs) for ECG analysis, particularly in the context of explainable AI (XAI) for clinical decision support. I am investigating how graph-based representations of biosignals could enhance disease classification and capture complex physiological relationships. A central aspect of my work involves developing and applying explainability methods to improve understanding of model predictions, making them more transparent and trustworthy for clinical use. I have also worked on medical image analysis, including segmentation and classification, where I similarly focus on interpretability and model understanding. Contact: E-Mail: miriamcindy.maurer |
