Information for Participants

All summer school participants are expected to attend the entire week. During the summer school, the GCSC will cover daily lunches, coffee breaks, and a conference dinner. Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the participants.

Conference Fee and Funding Options
The conference fee for external participants is €100,-. Fee waivers are provided for members of our network partners (ESSCS and TransHumanities). We have created a solidarity fund for early career researchers who do not have any support from their institution, a research grant, or other funding awards to attend our conference. Those participants can apply informally via email for a lump sum of up to €250,- including a conference fee waiver. Applicants should confirm that they have no access to other funding opportunities or indicate whether they will get any financial support from a third party (and how much).

The applications for the Solidarity Fund (250,-€) including a conference fee waiver (100,-€) have been received and processed. The applicants have been informed about the committee's decisions via e-mail. The funding will take the form of a post-factum reimbursement.
