IPP Work in Progress Series

for PhD students

The IPP Work-in-Progress series is an opportunity for IPP members to present drafts of research they intend to present at conferences, symposia, and other research events outside of the GCSC/JLU. Each session will comprise 20-minute presentations from 2-3 PhD researchers, followed by a Question and Answer session from the audience. By allowing PhD candidates to workshop their ideas, research contentions, and hypotheses among peers, and to receive adn integrate their peers' feedback, the series aims to prepare IPP members and build their confidence ahead of conference season in Summer 2024. IPP members with an interest in participating should watch out for the Call for Proposals, which will be circulated in coming weeks.

The Series is open to PhD students and will take place in hybrid format.

All the sessions will take place in the GCSC-GGK Building (Otto-Behaghel-Str. 12) on Thursdays from 14:00 to 15.30 in SR 109.
