Kinocenter Giessen

In cooperation with Kinocenter Giessen, the Panel hosts 'Planetary CineScience' that screens films of planetary relevance to the public and invites experts on relevant fields to conduct a lively discussion after the screening. 

So far, the Panel has had three film discussions with a lively and engaging audience:

• Oppenheimer (2023) - Discussion with Simon Märkl (Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt)
• Dark Waters (2019) - Discussion with Claus Leggewie (Panel on Planetary Thinking)
• Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) - Discussion with Meike Wiegand (Panel on Planetary Thinking)
