MAGIE - Makerspace Gießen

MAGIE - Makerspace Giessen is an open workshop, event space and education centre for Giessen and the region. The offer is freely accessible to everyone and includes:

• An open workshop with regular opening hours. Here you will find free workbenches, hand tools, 3D printers, a laser cutter, sewing machines, a CNC milling machine, soldering irons and much more. Whether privately, for work, study or training, you can give free rein to your creativity here.
• A light-flooded event room with large groups of tables. Here you can sit down with your laptop during open workshop hours, read a book, paint a picture or simply have a coffee and chat with other visitors.
• Various introductory workshops on 3D printing, 3D scanning, laser cutting, CNC milling, prototyping and artificial intelligence. All workshops are free of charge and require no prior knowledge. Registration takes place via the event calendar on the website.
• Exciting impulse events on new technologies such as additive manufacturing and artificial intelligence with lecturers from various universities and the private sector who report on their practical experience.
