Orientation Days during the Winter Semester 2026/27
8 and 9 October 2026
Dear Master's students,
Welcome to your new chapter of study at JLU! We cordially invite you to the Student Orientation Days, where you will receive all the important information you need to start your studies, and have the opportunity to meet other first-year students.
The two-day event kicks off with the opening event for your degree programme. Here, small groups will be formed, with whom you will spend the rest of the days. It is therefore essential that you attend the opening event; no registration is required.
Accompanied by student mentors, you will explore the university with your group and become familiar with everyday student life. In addition, a subject-specific programme awaits you, including advisory services from the academic advisors. The lecture period then begins on 12 October 2026.
