25.07.2013: 8th Petite Workshop on the Defect-chemical Nature of Solids (July 25th/26th)
The 8th Petite Workshop takes place at the University Geisenheim in the Rheingau, being organized by the Institute of Physical Chemistry (J. Janek/M.T. Elm) at JLU together with the Institute of Physical Chemistry (M. Martin) at RWTH Aachen. About 30 participants from Korea, Japan, Norway and Germany discuss fundamental issues related to the defect chemistry of functional oxides – mostly used in modern electrochemical energy technologies like SOFC and batteries.
The workshop is funded by the Funds of the German Chemical Industry (FCI) and BASF SE. The organizers are grateful for that financial support.
