Müller-Buschbaum, Klaus
Solid State Chemistry and Inorganic Materials
Research in the group MB focuses on synthetic inorganic chemistry of solid state compounds and materials. Priorities of research are in the fields of optical and stimuli-responding as well as switchable materials. In the focus are e.g. the so called MOFs (metal-organic frameworks), their luminescence and options for sensing. The work spans from bulk materials to structuring, thin films and multifunctional composites.
