B.A. History and Culture

The History and Culture degree programme is characterised by its broad range of subjects. Students can choose from 12 major subjects as well as several additional minor subjects, allowing for a wide variety of subject combinations and the development of an individual academic profile. The specific content of the programme varies considerably depending on the subjects selected. The History disciplines provide insight into historical developments across all periods, while the various fields of Classical Studies focus on the languages and cultures of European antiquity. Art Education, in turn, explores the teaching, analysis, and interpretation of artistic works.
