GGN Early Career Awards for outstanding achievements in the natural sciences
The GGN honored three early career researchers.
To promote and recognize outstanding achievements of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, the GGN has awarded three scientists with a GGN Early Career Award. Aimed at researchers at the beginning of their academic careers, the prizes recognise not only scientific excellence but also exceptional commitment to university teaching and active engagement in promoting the visibility of science. In particular, the awards recognise the use of innovative teaching methods and digital technologies in university teaching, active engagement in science communication and knowledge transfer, and the independent acquisition of external funding at an early stage in their career. The awards were endowed with € 1,000 each.
Through these awards, the GGN aims to support researchers in the further development of their talents, while at the same time highlighting the importance of excellent teaching and the public perception of science.
