Institute of Experimental and Translational Cardiology
Welcome to the Institute of Experimental and Translational Cardiology
The Institute of Experimental and Translational Cardiology is dedicated to the study of cardiovascular diseases, with a strong focus on translational basic research. Our work centers on the molecular and cellular analysis of disease-relevant mechanisms and their integration with clinical studies.
The research focuses on the mechanisms underlying cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, cardiac regeneration, and metabolic aspects of genetic and non-genetic diseases. By closely integrating experimental models—including humanized systems and stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes—with cutting-edge single-cell technologies, advanced tissue platforms, and clinical cohorts, we create a comprehensive research environment. This enables the development of novel, disease-specific, and personalized therapeutic strategies for cardiovascular diseases.
Our goal is to drive sustainable advances in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention through excellence in research, ultimately improving cardiovascular health.
