Die 2025-Ausgabe des Diskurs Festival findet unter dem Titel Foreshocks statt. Der Begriff des Vorbebens beschreibt in der Erdbebenforschung kleinere Beben die im Nachhinein als Ankündigung für des eigentliche, grosse Erdbeben gelesen werden können. In der diesjährigen Ausgabe fragen wir uns ob wir im Moment ein politisches, gesellschaftliches Vorbeben erleben und wenn ja was das für unser Handeln in der Gegenwart bedeuten müsste. In einem vielfältigen Programm aus drei Performances, einer Videoinstallation, einem Filmscreening und drei Vorträgen versuchen wir uns dieser Frage zu nähern.

The 2025 edition of the Diskurs Festival will take place under the title Foreshocks. In earthquake research, the term “foreshock” describes smaller tremors that can be interpreted retrospectively as precursors to the actual, larger earthquake. In this year's edition, we ask ourselves whether we are currently experiencing a political and social foreshock and, if so, what that should mean for our actions in the present. We attempt to address this question in a diverse program consisting of three performances, a video installation, a film screening, and three lectures.
