Guided city tour in Giessen for visiting researchers and lecturers

Visiting researchers and lecturers of JLU Giessen are kindly invited to learn something about the historical background of the city which they will be staying in for some time. 

On Friday, July 19th  at 1 p.m. JLU's International Office offers a guided tour through the city of Giessen. It will last about 1,5-2  hours and will be held in English.
The tour guide will present interesting details and anecdotes and explain the historical background of the city.

The costs for the guided tour are paid by the advisory office for visiting researchers of JLU Gießen. The services for visiting researchers are part of the project Internationalization@JLU – Cross Cultural Exchange of Skills and Knowledge.

Afterwards, participants can visit jointly a restaurant or pub, where the talks about Giessen, the university and living in Germany can be continued.
Your families are very welcome to join!

Since the number of people for the guided tour is limited to 30, please register via email until July 15th and indicate if you will participate alone or bring somebody along.

You will receive a mail indicating the exact meeting point in Giessen’s city centre and more information.
