Bich Ngoc Nguyen

Bich-Ngoc Nguyen holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies with a focus on sustainability (University of Passau, Germany). After her graduation in 2019, she returned to her home country (Vietnam) to join a climate change project at GIZ in Hanoi as a technical intern. She came back to Germany in 2020 and currently is a doctoral candidate at the department of Communication and Engagement in Agricultural, Nutritional and Environmental Sciences, JLU.

Research Interest

Her research interests are sustainable agriculture, food system and natural resources management with a special interest in engagement of the youth. The topic of her master thesis is "Aspiration of Young Women in Engaging in Agribusiness in Vietnam: A study in the Central Highland – Vietnam". For the PhD research, she will deal with Agricultural Higher Education for Sustainable Development in Vietnam.
