Project Description: EASE Project

The EASE program is a weight-neutral, health-oriented intervention concept that aims to promote well-being regardless of body weight.

EASE stands for:

  • Embodiment – fostering a positive body image and a stronger connection to one’s own body
  • Awareness – developing awareness of eating behavior and individual nutritional needs, and eating for well-being
  • Stigma Reduction – reducing weight stigma
  • Exploration – exploring movement and bodily experience

Scholarships and Funding

  • Funding for doctoral studies from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes), since December 2025
  • Graduate scholarship from Justus Liebig University Giessen, March 2025 – November 2025
