Annalina Benner

About me

Annalina Benner is a PhD candidate at the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC), International PhD Programme Literary and Cultural Studies (IPP) as well as European PhDnet Literary and Cultural Studies at Justus-Liebig-University Gießen. For her dissertation project, she researches the impact of digitization on the musicalization of anglophone fiction and the emergence of new forms of intermediality. Other research interests that she is also teaching about at the University of Gießen include African American literature and culture, graphic memoirs, and life writing. Annalina Benner studied English, Philosophy, and History at Justus-Liebig-University and Eastern Michigan University between 2016 and 2023.
