The pursuit of a PhD encompasses more than writing a dissertation. A doctorate is not only intellectually demanding; it often brings additional challenges of a social, physical or psychological nature.

Our team is therefore always available to listen to any problems you may be dealing with during your time at the GCSC, and offers counselling and support in all individual matters and problems which you might encounter during your membership. We can help you explore possible solutions for your issues in an unbiased, non-judgmental way, and can also refer you to other competent points of contact within or outside of JLU where appropriate.
