The Vice President for Research and Promotion of Young Scientists, Prof Dr Martin Kramer, welcomed the guests and opened the ceremony.

The Executive Director of the GGN, Prof Dr Peter Klar, presents the history of the GGN.
Prof. Dr. Katja Fiehler
The deputy Executive Director of the GGN, Prof Dr Katja Fiehler, presents the services offered by the GGN.

The winners of the Dr-Herbert-Stolzenberg-Awards, Marcel Linka, Janis Kevin Eckhardt and Dr Anton Windfelder, with the Executive Board of the GGN and Prof Dr. Hermann Wegner, member of the Board of Trustees.
 
 
The keynote speech is entitled Citizens of Space - Stewards of Earth.
Prof. Dr. Reinhold Ewald
Prof Dr Reinhold Ewald studied experimental physics, flew to the Mir space station and is Professor of Space Technology and Space Stations at the Institute of Space Systems (IRS) at the University of Stuttgart.
