Course Description
Goal
A basic understanding of methods related to quality management and lean management are today requested by many companies beside specific technical expertise. Cost pressure, movements in a competitive environment and changing customer requirements are forcing enterprises to permanently check and adapt their strategies. This may pose seemingly irresolvable conflicts and problems. The challenge is to develop creative solutions and specific measures and to implement them – effectively and efficiently.
The course provides an introduction into the systemic Six Sigma project management method which combines basic principles of Quality and Lean Management. Supported by practical examples and case studies the participants will learn to analyze complex business situations. They will gain an insight into the mode, the advantages, but also the limitations of the Six Sigma methodology. The conveyed contents and proficiencies conform to a “Six Sigma Yellow Belt” level, which participants will receive at the end of the course.
