Course Content

The online reflection session provides a structured space to systematically connect the didactic concepts acquired in the qualification programme with participants’ own experiences from their tutorials. Concrete teaching situations are analysed, challenges are reflected upon, and successful strategies are identified and made visible.

The focus lies on further developing one’s teaching role, working with heterogeneous groups, strengthening communication and moderation skills, and consciously planning future teaching situations. The session combines individual reflection with collegial exchange.

Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • identify key didactic concepts from the qualification programme and explain their relevance for their own tutorials
  • contextualise and categorise typical challenges in tutorials
  • reflect on their own teaching situations in a structured way and analyse them using didactic criteria
  • identify similarities and differences between higher education contexts
  • critically assess their own tutoring practice
  • weigh alternative courses of action and select them with justification
  • formulate concrete development goals for their future teaching practice
  • plan individual strategies for upcoming tutorials
