Delegate tasks and rights

Here you will find information on how to allow other people to enter or edit your data in JLU-CRIS and how to delegate the corresponding rights.

Requirements

The person to whom you wish to transfer the right to process your data must be registered in the CRIS and, for technical reasons, must have logged into the CRIS at least once before the transfer of rights is possible.

Transfer rights (delegate)

  1. Open your profile settings. To do this, click on your name at the top of the page. In the menu that appears, click on "My Settings".
  2. On the page that opens, scroll down to ‘User delegation’ and click on the blue ‘New delegation’ button.
  3. Enter the name of the person to whom you wish to delegate rights in the search field that opens and start the search by clicking on the magnifying glass icon.
    If the search for the person does not return any results, the person has not yet logged into CRIS after registering.
  4. To transfer the rights, click on the ‘+’ icon in front of the name.
  5. Click on the blue button labelled ‘Delegate’ that appears to complete the process.

You can grant multiple people rights to change your data at the same time. To do this, repeat the process described above.

Please note:

  • By delegating rights, the target person is granted rights to change all your data stored in the CRIS. It is not possible to restrict these rights.
  • The transfer of rights is unlimited in time. You must specifically revoke the transfer of rights if the person's tasks change.

Revoke rights (delete delegations)

  1. Open your profile settings. To do this, click on your name at the top of the page. In the menu that appears, click on 'My Settings'.
  2. On the page that opens, scroll down to ‘User delegation’.
  3. In the list of people to whom you have delegated rights, click on the bin icon next to the person's name.
  4. Confirm the withdrawal of rights by clicking on the blue ‘Delete’ button in the window that opens.
