Help and contact details
Many questions about JLU-CRIS, its functions and operation can be found in the manuals. We have divided these into general operating instructions, in which you can learn about the basic functions of CRIS, and role-specific instructions, in which we inform you about the tasks you can perform with your specific role in CRIS.
Please feel free to contact the CRIS team with any questions or suggestions you may have. We will be happy to help you. You can reach the CRIS team during office hours by telephone and email:

What is the core data set for research?
Why is data lost when creating or changing an entry?
- When working with multiple browser tabs, data loss or unintentional data changes are possible. A workaround for comparing and changing entries in CRIS is to log in to two different browsers, e.g. Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
- No explicit selection has been made when linking content. An explicit selection must always be made, even if there is only one search result.
- New links to other content are only saved if you explicitly save the data record ‘itself’.

A scientific publication is a manifest and published product resulting from the research work of one or more persons. A publication must correspond to an independent intellectual achievement; purely formal compilations should not be considered scientific publications. Scientific publications are usually aimed at research colleagues, but formats in which scientific results are communicated to a broader public should also be taken into account. Publications should be permanently available. Citable, published research data are also considered publications.
Please indicate the appropriate assignment in this field. You can refer to the affiliation information in the publication (if available) and the HRK guidelines for the assignment of research achievements: Guidelines for citing affiliations in publications.
