The GGL Career Day is open to all faculties of the JLU as well as to external guests! Our programme is designed for doctoral students from the life sciences, but all other interested audience is cordially invited as well.
What do I want to do after I received my doctor’s degree? The GGL Career Day, which will take place on the 21st February 2019, provides answers with an exploration of the variety of career profiles in industry, academia and public services. We are passionate about developing our participants and supporting them to be the best that they can be. Ensuring we are offering our participants a unique insight into different job profiles and enable them to get in touch with possible employers and meet GGL Alumni. Be a part of the Career Day and for further experience also join our PALS program!

Your life as a young researcher is filled with practical laboratory work, field studies or statistics. As much as this is a central element of your path to a doctoral degree now, you might later switch to more administrative and organisational jobs, where you will spend less time at the “bench” and more “on the desk”.
This year’s GGL career day will especially focus on these future positions offered in industry, academia and public services.
