Wege in die Promotion 2019

If you have asked yourself these questions before, you should come to the event "Wege in die Promotion 2019". The event is aimed to future doctoral students who are interested to enroll for a doctor's degree or a doctoral program. The event is also hosted by the three Giessen Graduate centers GGS, GGK / GCSC, GGL, the Forschungscampus Mittelhessen and the initiative ArbeiterKind.de, but will be held completely in German. 

Students of all faculties are invited. The event takes place on Friday, the 27. June 2019 from 1:00 to 4:15 p.m. in the auditorium of the main university building in Ludwigstraße 23.

Please register here until the 24th of June 2019.

Preliminary program:

• 1:00 pm: welcome, information on questions concerning the doctorate; Presentation of Forschungscampus and ArbeiterKind.de
• 2:00 pm: Testimonials from current doctoral candidates
• 2:45 pm: Information lounge and coffee in the foyer of the auditorium

Room change (rooms are determined depending on participants per center)

• 3:30 pm: Graduate Centers introduce themselves and their support tools for doctoral candidates

During the event, the Giessen Graduate centers can provide you with informations regarding requirements, funding opportunities, job opportunities in the information and promotion introduce support services for doctoral students at JLU. In addition, currently doctoral students of various areas of JLU will share their experiences and will then be available to answer questions. Upon completion of the information part of the event enthusiasts have the opportunity to interact with contact persons of the graduate centers and ArbeiterKind Gießen to individual questions.
