Abstract:

(1a) “Searching for Selective Reactions on Complex Molecular Scaffolds” - This lecture will describe our work wherein we have been developing peptide-based catalysts for the selective diversification of complex scaffold presented by natural products.

(1b) “Screening for Catalyst Discovery – Some Nuts and Bolts” - This lecture will dig deep into the procedures we are employing for combinatorial synthesis, screening and optimization of peptide-based catalysts for various applications.

    (2) “Catalysis: Asymmetric, Enzymatic, Inorganic, Organometallic, Organocatalytic – Are These Separate Fields and What is Next?” - This is a philosophical lecture that will explore the roots of catalysis, and its particular development for the preparation of biologically active molecules.
