Patricia Wowra has been working as a research assistant at the Institute for Consumer Research, Communication and Nutritional Sociology at JLU Giessen since 2018. 

Her research focuses on the areas of health and environmental psychology. She is interested in how a change in behavior towards a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle can be achieved. As part of her doctorate, she is investigating the role of individual (e.g. socio-economic status or habits) and situational influences (e.g. location or social environment) on nutritional behavior.

Patricia Wowra is also involved in science communication and puts her knowledge into practice in the form of science slams, lectures and workshops.
