Application Deadlines
Undergraduate Programmes and Master's Programmes
JLU’s current application deadlines can be found here; all exceptions, changes and any deadline extensions are published here as well.
Applications for a winter semester are usually possible from the beginning of June; for a summer semester from the beginning of December.
There are exceptions for some English-taught Master's programmes at JLU, for which earlier application periods apply. You can find their separate application periods on the current deadlines page and on the information page for the respective degree programme, in the ‘Application’ tab.

German Intensive Courses
Applications for German intensive courses at JLU may be submitted at any time. No application deadlines apply.
Note for Uni-Assist Applicants
The review of your documents by uni-assist might take several weeks. We therefore recommend that you apply right at the beginning of the application period. You can find uni-assist’s current processing times here.
Please note that all applications received by uni-assist in due form within the deadline will be considered for admission at JLU.
