Sabrina Ohm

My name is Sabrina Ohm. I am a law student specializing in Public International Law and European Law. I have a particular interest in International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and International Criminal Law. While I am currently preparing for the German bar exam, I support research in IHL at the Chair of Public Law and International Law, led by Prof. Dr. Marauhn. After several years of MUN participation, including NMUN 2024 and NMUN 2025, I now have the pleasure of supporting this year's delegation in their preparation for NMUN 2026. I am excited to have the privilege of accompanying our delegates on their NMUN journey, which is filled with intercultural experiences and lessons in diplomatic skills.

Luisa Keller

My name is Luisa Keller. I’m a law student in my ninth semester with a focus on criminology. After participating at NMUN 2024 and 2025 I’m very excited to participate at NMUN 2026 again. I look forward to immersing myself into a new country and culture and passing on my experience from the past years to the delegates of this years delegation. My interest lays within International Criminal Law and International Humanitarian Law. NMUN is an incredible opportunity for international exchange with other students and to further improve diplomatic skills.

Shaeel Ali

Hello, I’m Shaeel and currently studying law at the JLU. After having already participated at NMUN with two amazing delegations in 2023 and 2025, I now have the honour of taking part again in 2026, not only with another wonderful group of people, but this time as a head delegate for our new team. I hope to give something back while still learning many new things myself. By preparing our new delegates not only for NMUN but far beyond that, I want each of us to gain valuable experiences, grow personally, and carry the positive lessons from this journey into our own lives. Because real change in the world begins with the changes we make within ourselves.

Felix Dittmar

I am currently in my final semester of my bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics. From an early age I've been active in local politics and went on to hold several positions in my trade union DPVKOM. For me, the ModelUN program at JLU Gießen is a one of a kind experience that really makes an impact and connects different types of students to one another.

Having been a part of the NMUN Delegation in 2024, I am honoured to serve as head delegate and share my passion for international diplomacy with a new group of excited students!

Delegates

Celine Felsinger

Hi, my name is Celine. I am 22 years old and currently in my sixth semester studying Economics. Throughout my studies, I have become increasingly interested in how international politics and global economic developments shape our world. MUN inspires me because it offers the chance to experience diplomacy firsthand, improve my negotiation skills and learn from people with diverse perspectives. I am also excited to step outside my comfort zone, challenge myself in a completely new environment and grow both personally and academically. With MUN, I hope to broaden my understanding of global cooperation and contribute meaningfully to discussions on international issues.

Ema Zrnic

My name is Ema and I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Democracy and Governance. A year ago I completed my undergraduate studies in Business and Law which gave me insight into decision making processes and institutional procedures. Both my studies and personal experiences have shown me how important it is to understand complexity and look at problems from more than one perspective. As the world faces new challenges, I believe diplomacy and cooperation are more important than ever. Participating in GiMUN was a valuable opportunity to develop my skills in public speaking and negotiation. I see the upcoming conference in New York as a chance to deepen my understanding of global institutions and to further explore politics, human rights and international relations, fields I hope to contribute to in the future.

Emely Dilchert

My name is Emely. I am currently in my sixth semester of law studies at JLU.

Within the first semesters of studying law, I was taught that what's just and what's right aren't the same thing (John Rawls). This sentiment got to me. International politics and justice are intertwined with societies view on political responsibilities and fairness. I’m fascinated by the UNs ability to foster dialogue and cooperation in a world marked by inequality and shifting power structures. Through Model UN, I aspire to explore diplomatic and collective efforts from around the world to find lasting solutions.

Emma Schildt

My name is Emma, and I am currently studying the interdisciplinary master's program Justicia y desigualdades: Estudios comparativos culturales at JLU, which focuses on global persistent inequalities and injustices as well as overcoming them from postcolonial perspectives, taking into account prevailing North-South asymmetries. My interest lays particularly in the international discourse on human rights and their implementation. Addressing and debating urgent global issues are skills that I was able to deepen during my bachelor's degree in social and political sciences. I am very excited to be part of the NMUN 2026 delegation, as I see it as a great opportunity to apply my knowledge in a practical setting, learn more about international diplomacy, contribute within negotiations, and sharpen my intercultural skills.

Gracia Melchior

I am a law student at Justus Liebig University. My studies have sparked an interest in international relations, diplomacy and human rights. Through my participation in Model United Nations, I aim to improve my skills in negotiation, diplomacy and public speaking while deepening my understanding of global issues. I hope to explore diverse perspectives and analyze international challenges from different cultural and national contexts. By stepping into the roles of various nations, I seek to develop a better understanding of the complexities of international decision-making and cooperation.

Ida Rupp

I am studying law with a focus on Public International Law and European Union Law. As my main interest lies in Public International Law, NMUN is the perfect opportunity for me to gain practical insights into the diplomatic and political background behind it. I believe that a global platform for discussion such as the UN is indispensable, especially in times of conflict and crisis. I look forward to learning more about diplomacy and geopolitics, meeting people from all around the world, and discussing international politics with them!

Julian Schmitz

My name is Julian Schmitz and I am a fifth semester economics Student. I’m captivated by the intensity of international politics – how interconnected our world is and how critical the decisions being made today are for our future. Every crisis, every negotiation pulls me deeper into wanting to understand not just what's happening, but how to be part of the solution. Through MUN, I'm training myself to argue effectively, think critically, and build the foundation for turning interest into impact.

Kaylee Watson

Hi, I‘m Kaylee and currently a 3rd semester Student of Intercultural Communication and Business here at the Justus-Liebig-University in Gießen. I have always been very interested in politics and an opportunity to take matters into my own hands to try and change things for the better is something I‘ve always wanted. It is a huge goal of mine to be a part of our national parliament one day; to actually have the chance to voice my opinion and represent those who do not have the fortune to do so. Model United Nations is a great way for me to nourish my diplomatic skills, develop persistence, and expand my enthusiasm for world politics. I am honoured to be a part of the 2026 delegation for the National MUN in New York, and I'm looking forward to gaining international experience, and enjoying this valuable time with my fellow delegates.

Kiara Calhoun

My name is Kiara, and I am a second-semester law student at Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen with a strong interest in international law and multilateral cooperation. Having been born in the United States and raised in Germany, I have grown up between two cultures, which has shaped my global perspective and deepened my appreciation for international dialogue and cooperation.

I am honored to serve as a delegate at the National Model United Nations Conference in New York 2026 representing Somalia in the General Assembly two. NMUN represents a unique opportunity to engage with complex global challenges, refine my diplomatic and analytical skills, and collaborate with students from around the world who share a commitment to international understanding. Participating in NMUN New York is both a privilege and a meaningful step in my academic and professional development, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute thoughtfully to the conference.

Larissa Lengemann

Hey, I‘m Larissa! I’m 24 years old and currently in my third semester of studying Intercultural Communication and Business. Ever since I was a little girl, I‘ve been dreaming of going out into the world, meeting new people and learning about the history, politics and culture of countries and communities across the globe. This lead me to spending a year abroad at the age of 16, choosing English and History as my advanced classes during my final years of school, choosing ICB as my field of study and, finally, participating in Model UN. To me, Model United Nations feels like a great opportunity to sharpen my research and public speaking skills and learning new things about countries that I previously new very little about, while simultaneously being a fun way of meeting people from all around the world. After participating in GiMUN and SiegMUN, I‘m truly looking forward to MainMUN and NMUN and all the knowledge, skills and friendships that come from it!

Lisa-Marie Steinbach

With a strong interest in politics and international relations, I see NMUN as an exciting opportunity to deepen my understanding of global governance and international cooperation. Having already participated in previous ambassador programs and MUN or political conferences, I discovered a genuine enthusiasm for debate, negotiation, and problem-solving on the world stage - and I loved every part of it. The dynamic exchange of ideas and the challenge of representing diverse perspectives have only strengthened my commitment to pursuing a career in international relations and contributing to meaningful global dialogue through diplomacy. I look forward to meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and challenging myself to think from different perspectives.

Luka Novakovic

Hi, my name is Luka, and I am a medical student at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen. For me, medicine is one of the most important fields when it comes to understanding society and global responsibility. Every day, I see that health is never only a clinical matter, but always also a political, social, and moral one. I am deeply interested in how global decisions shape the lives of individuals and communities, and how international responsibility translates into real human outcomes. Through my engagement in international dialogue, I have learned to think beyond borders and short-term interests. Being selected for the NMUN 2026 delegation is an important step for me, and I am grateful for the trust placed in me by Justus-Liebig-University. I will represent the JLU delegation in New York with a clear sense of purpose and a strong commitment to meaningful contribution.

Lukas Probst

My name is Lukas Probst and I am a third-semester law student. What draws me to the study of law is the idea that it's not a passive pursuit-it's an active one. It's a field that demands that "where you see wrong or inequality... you speak out." I'm joining this MUN delegation to learn how to do that effectively on an international scale.

Diplomacy is the art of speaking out with purpose and building consensus, and I'm eager to develop those skills, challenge my own perspectives, and debate these critical issues with my fellow delegates.

Simon Hummert

In the current state of our society, communication, empathy and taking other perspectives has become rather scarce but simultaneously more important. I think cultural exchange and curiosity for different opinions is the key to responding to the societal polarization we can observe right now on local and global scale. Since I enjoy debating and connecting with people from other cultural or professional backgrounds, taking part in MUNs, especially NMUN, grants me the opportunity to strenghten my ability to understand from where different perspectives derive and how to compromise while avoiding reactance. Therefore, I am excited to join my fellow delegates in this experience.

Tom Klimek

My name is Tom Klimek, and I am a third-semester law student at JLU Gießen. This year, I had the honor of representing Indonesia at GiMUN. My studies are quickly teaching me that law is more than just abstract theory; it’s the practical tool we use to protect each other. I’m drawn to international relations because I share the belief that human rights don’t just begin at the highest levels, they begin “in small places, close to home”.

At NMUN NY 2026, I will have the privilege of representing Somalia in the Security Council, and I am committed to doing so to the best of my ability and conscience. For me, NMUN is the perfect chance to understand how we can bridge the gap between our local communities and the global stage. I look forward to engaging in fruitful debates and learning from all the distinguished delegations.
