Our Research Training Group currently offers 1 position for a Doctoral Researcher / PhD Student in the group of Roland Hartmann, Philipps-Universität Marburg.

The project focusses on RNA-protein interactions, specifically the identification of binding sites of cellular proteins in the 5'- and 3'-UTRs of Ebola virus mRNAs. Tasks will include investigation of functional mRNA structures, e.g. by SHAPE-MaP, and establishment of assays for the characterization and functional analysis of interactions of viral mRNAs with cellular proteins (e.g. in the context of mRNA stabilization or translation of viral mRNAs).
