First Funding Period 2018-2022
During the first funding period, the RTG 2355 (GRK 2355) comprised 12 project groups from the Justus Liebig University of Giessen, the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research (Bad Nauheim), and the Philipps University of Marburg.

The major foci of our programme are schematically illustrated, covering the flow of genetic information from transcription to decay (organized in four areas, A-D), and specifying, which regulatory noncoding RNAs are involved (lncRNAs, circRNAs, sRNAs, miRNAs). In addition, there is a technology platform on RNA bioinformatics (E), which is relevant for all four other areas.
