...Claudia J. Ford ist Professorin und Leiterin des Fachbereichs Umweltstudien an der State University of New York Potsdam, Mitglied des Panels für Planetares Denken an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, und Gastdozentin an der University of Buffalo. Ford ist außerdem Hebamme und Ethnobotanikerin und schreibt, lehrt und forscht über traditionelles ökologisches Wissen, spirituelle Ökologie, entheogene Pflanzenmedizin, reproduktive Gesundheit von Frauen, sowie nachhaltige Landwirtschaft.
