When you write a DFG proposal today, you have to comment on research data management. The DFG now expects you to describe and plan how you will handle research data - tailored to your specific project. The management of data can also be in focus, especially during the review and inspection process.

But what needs to be taken into account? What support is available? What questions need to be answered regarding data management - and who can I ask for support?

Dr. Ortrun Brand, coordinator of the state initiative HeFDI - Hessian Research Data Infrastructures, will present the key points of the DFG specifications and will be available for questions and discussion.

Speaker : Dr. Ortrun Brand, Philipps-University Marburg
Chair : Maria Kiefer, HeFDI Coordination Office

The event will be held in English. Click here to register https://t1p.de/3oghd.

The HeFDI Data Talks (https://t1p.de/5rga0) are a series of events that takes place every second Friday from 11h to 12h. Here, current topics and offers on data and software management are presented and discussed. The talks are aimed at researchers and teachers in Hesse and throughout Germany, but also at the data management community and stakeholders. Like the state initiative HeFDI, the Data Talks are funded by the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts (HMWK).
