“Liebig Centre” - Joint FAO/IAEA Centre of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture, Vienna, and Justus Liebig University Giessen establish cooperation center for agroecology and climate impact research

The Liebig Center for Agroecology and Climate Impact Research (“Liebig Centre”) can begin its work immediately. A corresponding agreement between JLU and the joint FAO/IAEA office was signed by JLU President Prof. Dr. Katharina Lorenz and Dr. Najat Mokhtar, Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Applications, during an online meeting on 16 May 2025.
