About Us

As a cross-sectional organizational unit, the Staff Office for Academic Infrastructure (StW) is the point of contact for ongoing structural development of all infrastructure units used for scientific purposes. These are research infrastructures, core facilities, university collections, Hessian Research Information Systems (HeFIS-Verbund), etc.

The staff division is assigned to the Vice President for Academic Infrastructure (VPW) and coordinates the structuring, implementation, and sustainable organization of academic infrastructure at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
