Costs and Financing
Currently, you have to expect costs of about € 1,000 per month in Germany. From the winter semester 2024/25 onwards the assumed annual standard requirement, which must be paid into the blocked account when applying for a visa, is € 11,904 (€ 992 per month). The financing of your studies must be clarified before you start your studies (privately, via scholarships, etc.).
Students from non-EU countries need official proof of financing (e.g. blocked account in Germany or a scholarship certificate from a public scholarship provider). If problems arise here during your studies, we will be happy to advise you in a personal consultation. Before enrolment, we strongly recommend that you take out German statutory health insurance for students (approx. € 130-140 per month).
