You have to hold a presentation in one of your seminars and are not quite sure how to work it? Maybe you already held some presentations, but you didn't get the feedback you desired? Don’t panic! In this seminar, together with fellow students, you can step by step answer all your questions. Starting with the structure of a presentation, the course will also teach you practical tricks on how to put together your slide deck and how to present yourself in front of others to level up your presentation game. Get to know how you can stay calm throughout the whole talk in front of the seminar as well. This course regards on-campus as well as online presentations.

Content:

  • Structure and design of a good presentation
  • How you and others perceive yourself (on stage)
  • Breathing and body exercises for a good impression
  • Coping strategies to master stage fright

Lecturer:
Jaqueline Erlach has studied M.A. Speech Science in Marburg and works as a workshop trainer for several universities. She has worked with different national and international groups as she was travelling around Europe for about a year. Now back to being a freelance seminar leader, she offers workshops on goal setting, voice training, motivation, rhetoric, self-presentation and moderation in work groups.
