Exam anxiety is a common challenge for many students and can significantly impact performance. However, understanding what happens in your body and using the right techniques can help turn anxiety into focus. This workshop provides practical strategies for managing stress, improving study efficiency, and staying calm under pressure.
Key Topics:
- The role of the nervous system: fight-or-flight response
- Structured and effective learning strategies
- Time management for stress-free preparation
- Overcoming exam anxiety with practical techniques (e.g., cognitive reframing, controlled breathing)
- Building mental resilience for exam day (routines, mindset shifts, realistic self-expectations)
- Staying calm and focused during the exam (managing pressure in the moment, avoiding panic spirals)
- Handling blackouts and sudden nervousness (retrieving lost information, resetting focus)
