Dr. Martin Timmermann, agricultural apprenticeship on organic farms (1991-1993); studied agricultural sciences at Georg-August University in Göttingen, graduating with a degree in agricultural engineering; methodological comparison of phenomenology versus the natural sciences (diploma, awarded); Head of organic winter wheat breeding at Getreidezüchtung Darzau/Cultivari from 2003 to 2008; Ph.D. in cereal breeding with an ethnographic study (“The Breeder’s Perspective – Experience, Knowledge, and Decision-Making in Cereal Breeding,” 2008).
