You need a school-leaving certificate that entitles you to study at a university in your home country. 
Check on anabin.kmk.org whether your certificate is recognized in Germany.

English skills (C1)


Proof of very good written and spoken English at level C1 (CEFR). 
Accepted certificates: TOEFL iBT, IELTS, Cambridge English, Pearson PTE, TOEFL, telc, UNlcert, IGSCE or proof of education in one of the follwoing countries: Australia, lreland, Canada., New Zealand, USA, United Kingdom, South Africa.

German skills (A2) 


Basic German at level A2 (CEFR) is required for administrative and everyday life in Germany. 
Accepted eertificates: Goethe, telc, ÖSD, DTZ (g.a.s.t.). 
Not required if you have a German university entrance qualification. 

Your application journey in 5 steps

Step 1: Check your school certificate 

Use anabin.kmk.org to find out whether your school and certificate is recognized for university studies in Germany.

Step 2: Prepare your documents

Collect and prepare all required documents (see checklist below). 

Step 3: Apply via uni-assist

Create an account on uni-assist.de and submit your application online for our university. 
Upload all documents and pay the application fee to uni-assist.

Step 4: Uni-assist checks your application

Uni-assist checks your documents (approx. 4-6 weeks) and forwards your complete application to our university.

Step 5: Decision by the university

Our university reviews your application and informs you about the decision via the e-mail. Please note: uni-assist does not make the admission decision.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to upload your documents to the uni-assist portal in time - not the date when uni-assist forwards them to our university.
